New undergraduate researchers in the lab

In the last year, four new undergraduate researchers have joined the lab. They are working on a range of different but overlapping research projects. Sophia Kiselova-Sammons works on pastoralists demography; Tori Garcia is examining whether there is still an ideal free distribution now that pastoralist refugees from Nigeria have come to the floodplain; Joshua Tovuor is managing the transhumance data and using this data to examine whether pastoralists are distributing themselves in an IFD in "real time"; and John Baltes is examining longitudinal changes in grazing pressure in the Logone Floodplain. More information about their research projects can be found here.
