Chelsea Hunter successfully defended her dissertation Co-Managing Sovereignty: Collaborative Biodiversity Conservation and Indigenous Sovereignty in Kanaky/New Caledonia and graduated on May 5th 2024. She will start a tenure-track assistant professor position in the Department of Anthropology at the University of North Texas in January 2025.
