Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

In September 2012 a number of us participated in the All Scientists Meeting (ASM) of the Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) network to make the case for the integration of anthropology in research at the LTER sites. We wrote a short piece about our experiences at the meeting for Anthropology News and discussed the challenges and opportunities for anthropologists interested in engaging in interdisciplinary research at LTER sites.
