My photo "Camel Culture" has been selected for the 2019 International Photography Exhibition of the Office of International Affairs. It is a picture of me taking a picture of our guide Hassan Mahri feeding his favorite camel a treat. Hassan's family traditionally kept camels for subsistence, but with the rapid economic development of Dhofar, Oman keeping camels is no longer an economic necessity, but a cultural commitment.
